http://skunkworks.disqus.com/enThu, 06 Nov 2008 01:31:43 -0000http://www.skunk-works.ca/wordpress/?p=160#comment-4182954<p>As much as experience may or may not play in favour or against Obama, I expect that the biggest influence his victory may have is the provision of hope and positivity.</p><p>When leaders bring with them a baggage of negativity, they lack vision, don't have the trust of the people and rule by fear, the society will become insular, protective and reactive in ways that approach survival instincts rather than approaching problems with creativity and intelligence.</p><p>Obama, if he had no other abilities (though I believe he does) seems to have brought the possibility that things can be made better to the forefront of peoples' minds.
